CIVIL AIR PATROL SOARS INTO WILD BLUE YONDER WITH 179TH AIRLIFT WING

The 179th Airlift Wing show support to the 279th Civil Air Patrol (CAP) of Clermont, OH, during an orientation flight, June 23, 2014. The CAP is the official auxiliary civilian support of the United States Air Force.Their mission is to serve America by developing our nations youth; accomplishing local, state and national emergency/humanitarian missions; and educating our citizens on the impact of aviation and space. Chief Master Sgt. James Farriss, 164th Airlift Squadron worked with 279th CAP leaders, Capt. Ryan and Lt. Shea, to arrange the orientation flight.
