Local USAF pilot helps in airline emergency

Members of the 179th Airlift Wing and various local media outlets welcome Capt. Mark Gongol into Mansfield, OH, June 5, 2014. Capt. Gongol has made international headlines for his heroic actions Dec. 30, 2013, when he helped to land a commercial 747 that he and his wife were travelling on when the pilot suffered a medical emergency.
