Mansfield Lahm Airport, Mansfield, Ohio
The 179th Airlift Wing, Mansfield, Ohio, particpated in the Mansfield Lahm Airport Day, July 5, 2014. The unit honored the city of Mansfield by designating the "Spirit of Mansfield" name to one of the C-130H Hercules. The event gave the public a chance to tour the new C-130H Hercules belonging to the unit as well as many other aircraft, old warbirds, civillian aircraft and also a car show. The Garden of Heroes was also on display, recognizing historical figures of Mansfield, General Frank P. Lahm, J.R. "Bud" Harrington and Colonel Alan Tappan. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by, Tech.
