Can I take pictures and videos?

Yes you can take pictures and videos of some of the tour areas. Photography and video recording of restricted areas is prohibited. 

Contact the Public Affairs Office for further guidance.


How do I book a base tour?

Please use the "Contact Us" link in the navigation bar. On the Contact Us page, choose Tour or Public Affairs as the recipient to receive your email. A base tour representative will contact you as soon as possible.


How large or small can a group be?

Tour groups will normally be limited to no more than 25 people for accountability and safety purposes. Larger groups will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Groups less than 4 will be booked according to available resources.

Need to know

Special clearance requirements for Foreign Nationals and Professional Photographers.

Tours including orientation flights require additional approval that will be coordinated directly with the Ohio National Guard Public Affairs Office. Please visit the ONG PA website to submit your request.


What does the tour show?

The tours are designed for the group. You can see the aircraft, the aircraft hanger, the fire department, and visit Airmen Equipment Flight. The base has many interesting areas to visit. Please let the base representative know if you have any areas of interests.

When does the installation book tours?

The tour season runs annually from April 1st through October 31st

Who can take a base tour?

Base tours are geared toward the general public to include:

High school, middle school, and vocational schools, children 12 years or older
Business leaders, elected officials, civic leaders
Military Family Members
Some clubs

All tours and individuals are subject to security checks

The recommended ages for minors are set at 12 years old and above due to safety requirements.

The tours are walking tours. Please consider any special needs that may be required; special parking, chairs, wheelchairs, water, etc.  and be sure to communicate anything that your group may need to the base representative.
